Empowering Diverse Voices Together!

As a newly established organisation, our institutional experience in youth work is in an early stage; however, the organisation is built upon the active engagement and prior involvement of its members in local youth-related initiatives, community activities, and non-formal learning processes. Since its establishment, the organisation has focused on small-scale, local youth work activities that allow us to gradually build experience while remaining closely connected to the needs of young people.

The organisation facilitated a local youth workshop on inclusive participation and access to opportunities, involving a small group of young people from diverse educational and social backgrounds. The workshop focused on identifying barriers that limit young people’s participation in youth activities and exploring inclusive approaches through group discussions and interactive exercises. This activity supported our understanding of local youth needs and strengthened our capacity to design participatory learning environments.

We organised a non-formal learning workshop focusing on diversity awareness and respectful communication, with the participation of approximately 15 young people. The workshop aimed to encourage empathy, dialogue, and mutual understanding through experiential learning methods such as group work, reflection sessions, and scenario-based discussions. Through this activity, the organisation gained practical experience in facilitating inclusive group dynamics.

Our team conducted a youth-focused session on teamwork, cooperation, and peer learning, designed to support young people in developing social and communication skills. The session used interactive and learner-centred methods and contributed to our experience in planning and implementing structured youth work activities aligned with non-formal education principles.

In addition to organising local workshops, members of the organisation have participated in youth-related events, workshops, and information sessions organised by local organisations in Vienna. These participatory experiences enabled us to observe existing youth work practices, exchange ideas with other organisations, and gain inspiration from initiatives already implemented at local and regional levels.

As a newly established organisation, we see Erasmus+ as an important learning opportunity that will allow us to further develop our organisational capacity, improve the quality of our youth work, and contribute to European cooperation through inclusive and value-based projects.

The local activities carried out so far, combined with our members’ motivation and openness to learning, provide a realistic and solid foundation for implementing the proposed project. These experiences will support the project by ensuring that activities are based on tested non-formal methods, inclusive approaches, and a strong commitment to continuous development at both local and European levels.
